Hydration is a critical component of your health. In fact, water makes up at least half of your body weight if you’re a woman and more than half if you’re a man. Drink water throughout the day, especially in hot weather or during exercise. It’s particularly important to drink lots of fluids if you start to notice symptoms of dehydration. In severe cases of dehydration, you’ll need to go to an emergency room for medical attention.
